WEB DESIGN 101

Before your website can be completed, there are a few things that are needed, such as:

Domain Name: Your domain name is your URL or what your clients type in when they are on the internet. We recommend that your domain name be short, simple, or something easy to remember.
Web Hosting: Web Hosting is similar to paying rent for space on the internet. You have to purchase space on the web to hold all of your website files. We, like most web hosting companies, provide packages based on the amount of space you may need. Most websites will need the lowest amount of space; but if you are adding any media such as music, flash, or movies to your website, you will need the economy of deluxe package. Please keep in mind that you can always upgrade your web hosting package if needed.
Website Content: Website Content is the information and images you are going to use on your website. You can download our Web Design Information Sheet for more information. If you already have a logo, we will need the logo in a .pdf, .psd, .jpg, .gif, or .tif format. All other images are provided by Blue Phoenix Media Group unless otherwise specified.
